Why Join & What BJJ is?
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art and combat sport system that focuses on grappling and especially ground fighting. BJJ promotes the concept that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend themselves against a bigger, stronger, heavier assailant by using proper technique, leverage, and most notably, taking the fight to the ground, and then applying joint-locks and choke holds to defeat the opponent.

A large block of our beginners curriculum focuses on the BJJ self defense system.
FITNESS & STRENGTH
The live training involved in BJJ is one of the best whole body workouts in all sports.
The absolute mindfulness required during live training has a proven positive effect our mental health.
WHAT TO BRING?
For the Beginners Program all you will need to start is:
- pair of flip flops
- bottle of water.
Do I need a Kimono/Gi for the Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Classes?
Yes, and we will provide one for you (included in starting package)
COST & TIMES
The 8 Week Beginners Course is only €120
- 2 classes per week (Monday & Thursday) for 8 weeks
- Open Mats training on Saturday's
- BJJ uniform "Gi" & belt
